Web Analytics with "Piwik"
Leibniz Universität Hannover uses the open-source software Piwik as a web analytics platform. The software developers are in close contact with the Independent Regional Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).This means that they implement data protection rules and regulations so that Piwik can be used in accordance with German jurisdiction, in compliance with data protection laws and in a legally secure way.
Your IP address is made anonymous immediately after processing and before storing it. Piwik has been configured according to the recommendations of the Independent Regional Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD) and complies with current data protection regulations.
By using these internet services you declare that you agree to the processing of data collected about you as described above and solely for the above-mentioned purpose.
Piwik endorses the “Do Not Track“ method of current web browsers. If you wish to generally prohibit any analysis of your web behaviour, we recommend that you activate this option in your browser. Please note that when switching to other websites of Leibniz Universität Hannover (uni-hannover.de) it might be eventually necessary to again prohibit data analysis by Piwik.
This blog allows comments to specific contributions. When sending a comment, your name or pseudonym, as well as your E-mail address will be stored.
